I've noticed a lot of young people think the house is going to magically fix itself. it won't. When you own the home. your city, county and state government has maintenance requirements. I'm watching my City fine property owners for unsightly properties that they use as rental income. the neglect they have for the Property has caused health issues and environmental contamination. Renters do not care about the property they live on. they feel entitled to destroy it because it's not their problem to deal with.
