I bet you have everything you need in your pantry to make homemade tortillas! Flour, salt, fat (butter, oil, tallow, etc) and water is all you need!

2 cups flour

1/2 tsp salt

1/3 cup oil - I often use butter or olive oil

~ 3/4 cup water - I use warm water

Mix all ingredients together but add the water a little at a time. You want the dough to come together but not be super sticky.

Knead for 2-3 minutes

Cover and let rest for 10 minutes

Separate into 6-8 pieces, form into balls.

Cover and let rest for 20 minutes

Roll out and then cook on dry skillet for a few minutes on each side!

That’s it! Super easy but I still manage to screw it up 🤣
