Germania is another great day trip on the ATV. We leave after breakfast, ride through the state forest, and get to the Germania Store before lunch. Get their hoagies with their pepper relish and enjoy some ice cream and candy before comintuing on the trails.
With the permits and the new trail systems you can now ride from Germania to the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. There are a ton of things to do there. We typically do a short walk/hike and take some pictures before heading back.
Our trip to Germania during Labor Day weekend includes the fireman's festival with their amazing bbq chicken and pork dinner, cash raffles that bring people in from all over, kids games, and the greased pig competition. It's a site to see!
