This is a memento of my mother, who died and disposed of various things
I got it from my parents' house 💕

I almost got rid of it.

母から受け継いだ茶器を『見せる収納』にすることで、ただの片付けではなく、大切な思い出の品を生活の中で楽しむ工夫ができます。私も祖母の急須や茶碗を譲り受け、最初はどこにどう飾ればいいか迷いましたが、リビングの一角にガラス扉付きのキャビネットを用意して、日々使う器とともに飾ることで、訪れる友人たちにもよく話題にされ、思い出話に花が咲きます。 茶器は割れやすい繊細なものもあるため、埃よけや湿度管理にも気をつけたいですね。私の場合、茶筒も飾りつつ、使うたびに丁寧に扱い、母の愛用していたお茶を淹れる時間が特別な癒しのひと時になっています。 また、実家の整理と遺品の処分は気持ち的に負担もありますが、残すべき品物と日常で活かしていく品物を分け、思い切って手放すことで心が軽くなりました。お茶を立ててみようかな、という気持 ちが新たな家族の思い出を作るきっかけにもなります。こうして母の形見が形を変えて生活の中に息づくことは、とても温かいことだと感じています。
