we did it

... Read moreIt feels incredible to reflect on our journey together. Twenty-one years of shared memories, laughter, challenges, and growth have made us who we are today. And within those years, celebrating 4 years of addiction recovery feels like the biggest achievement, a testament to our strength and the power of enduring love. When I look at us embracing and smiling, I see all the hard work paying off, all the moments of doubt overcome. Building a relationship that lasts over two decades isn't always easy, but it’s so rewarding. What I've learned is that it truly takes effort from both sides. We always prioritize open communication, even when it's tough. Being able to talk through everything, big or small, has been our anchor. We also make sure to keep our individual passions alive while nurturing shared dreams, like that concert we're so excited to see. Little things like regular date nights, even if it's just a quiet dinner at home, help us reconnect and appreciate each other. Showing respect, even during disagreements, and finding humor in everyday life are also key ingredients for our lasting happiness. Our journey through addiction recovery has been profoundly transformative, especially these last four years. It required immense courage, honesty, and a strong support system, both from each other and from our community. We learned to celebrate every small victory – each day, week, and month sober – as a monumental achievement. It wasn't always a smooth path; there were setbacks and difficult moments, but we never gave up on each other. My partner's determination and our shared commitment to a healthier life made all the difference. We focused on building new routines, finding healthy coping mechanisms, and constantly reminding ourselves of the beautiful future we were building together. The joy we feel now, smiling outdoors, is a result of that hard work and perseverance. Maintaining this current happiness is a daily practice. It’s about gratitude for where we are, appreciating the simple moments, and continuing to dream together. Having future plans, big or small, gives us something to look forward to and keeps our spirits high. Whether it's planning that long-awaited concert trip or just a weekend getaway, these shared aspirations keep our bond strong and our hearts full. Our story is proof that with love, commitment, and resilience, you can overcome anything and build a life filled with genuine joy and lasting connection.

This birth was seriously a dream come true ✨🦋 I have always been intrigued by water births since I was old enough to understand birth. But when I was pregnant with my first, I had a really hard pregnancy, SPD, and IUGR, and this resulted in being induced (we were lucky to make it to 38 weeks) s

So… I Did Something🤭
I DID IT, Y’ALL!! 🚙✨ My old car was giving me way too many maintenance problems, and honestly, it just wasn’t big enough for everything I needed—especially with my huge dog riding around with me! So I made the move and got my 2025 Hyundai Palisade XRT, and I couldn’t be more proud of myself! 🙌🏽

Okay, tell me I’m not crazy… but does the new Alani Nu Strawberry Sunrise taste exactly like the Mimosa? Because I swear, it’s giving the same vibes. Not that I’m complaining because I was loving the Mimosa, so this feels like a major win. But now I need to know… have you tried it yet? Do you think

Did you know it used to be free to check at least one piece of luggage? So, why did it change? 🤔 I think we can all throw a big thanks to American Airlines for this one. Back in 2008, they were the first to slap on luggage fees, blaming it on sky-high fuel costs and all that economic mess. Tu
