Lyla Sage has such a knack for heartwarming stories with just the right amount of angst. For those who love a bit of suspense and emotional depth, 'Broken Harbor' by Catherine Cowles featuring a single mom and a hockey coach with forced proximity and a woman on the run sounds incredibly compelling. Catherine Cowles is a master of creating strong heroines and protective heroes, so I expect this to be a powerful read. And speaking of powerful, if you're into dark romance with spicy content, 'Hexed' by Emily McIntire is on my list! It's a dark mafia Little Mermaid retelling with a slow burn and that delicious 'touch him and die' trope. Emily McIntire never shies away from intense stories, and I'm ready for the ride. For a different kind of romance, Lauren Asher's novella 'My December Darling' offers a best man x maid of honor, best friend's ex, dislike-to-love story set in a small town like Lake Wisteria. Her books always have that perfect blend of emotion and charm. And if you're looking for something truly unique and kinky, 'Keep Me' by Sara Cate promises a Scottish billionaire, enemies-to-lovers, grumpy x grumpy, marriage of convenience romance. Sara Cate is known for pushing boundaries and delivering intense, passionate stories, so I'm expecting this one to be incredibly hot. Beyond these incredible late 2024 releases, I'm already compiling my list of best romance novels for adults 2025.
