My weekly cleaning schedule as a SAHM🧼✨

This is my current cleaning schedule and it has honestly changed my life! My house has never been so clean and organized. The most important thing is to make your schedule work for you and don’t be afraid to change things around if they aren’t realistic. This is my fourth version of this schedule because I kept finding better ways to get things done. For example, instead of wiping down the kitchen counters one day and the living room surfaces another day I get a bunch of disinfectant wipes and wipe down everything on Mondays. It’s quicker to do it all at once and it starts the week out with a super clean feeling house!🫶🏻💕

The key is to adapt the cleaning routine to fit your family’s lifestyle, and this involves prioritizing tasks based on when your home is at its messiest. Many find that Mondays are ideal for tackling deeper cleaning tasks as it sets a positive tone for the week ahead. Incorporating a mix of busy and chill days throughout the week can make cleaning feel manageable. For instance, a typical schedule might include concentrated cleaning efforts on Mondays, followed by lighter tasks midweek and preparations for the weekend. A useful tip is to laminate your cleaning schedule. This way, you can easily check off completed tasks and add extras as needed. Additionally, consider decluttering regularly to maintain a tidy home. Embrace the flexibility of your schedule, allowing for necessary adjustments, and be sure to experiment with different approaches to find what works best for you. Such customization not only enhances productivity but also creates a welcoming home environment.
