Reflecting on the truth that "God is good in every season," I find deep comfort in the reality that this goodness isn't limited to easy or joyful times but extends especially to the difficult seasons. Life is full of ups and downs—moments of joy, uncertainty, and hardship. Through my own experience, I've come to understand that during the tough times, when questions and doubts arise, God's presence offers a steady refuge. Nahum 1:7 reminds me that "The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him." This verse has been my anchor during storms, helping me remember that pain is temporary and that God's care never wavers. Whether facing personal challenges, loss, or confusion, trusting in God transforms how these seasons impact my heart and outlook. Embracing this perspective has empowered me to seek God’s goodness intentionally—even when it’s hard to see. I've learned that acknowledging God as a refuge means I don't have to pretend to have all answers or control every outcome. Instead, I lean into faith, prayer, and community, which provide strength and peace. For anyone struggling to understand their current season, know that acknowledging God's unwavering goodness can be transformative.
