Daily Devotional: Creation Declares
Today, we step outside with intention; not just to move, but to notice. All around us, creation is speaking. The heavens are not silent; they are declaring the glory of God. Every detail we see is revealing something about the One who made it.
The sky stretches wide, reminding us of His greatness. The trees stand firm, showing us His stability and faithfulness. Even the quiet moments: the breeze, the rustling leaves, the warmth of the sun; are all part of His handiwork.
But in order to truly hear what creation is declaring, we must slow down.
Scripture tells us to "be still, and know that I am God."
"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" - Psalm 46:10
Stillness allows us to shift from simply seeing to truly beholding. It quiets the distractions so our hearts can recognize what has been in front of us all along; evidence of God's presence, power, and care.
