A SONG ABOUT PPL WHO TAKE ADVANTAGE! 😱 #songwriter

When someone you care about starts to just *love to take advantage*, it’s truly one of the most painful experiences. You find yourself wondering how they could make it a *habit*, almost like it’s automatic for them, and it feels incredibly *tragic*. For a long time, I struggled with how to process these feelings. It’s easy to feel like there’s no shame in their actions, but a lot of pain in yours. But then I realized, I could take these random words and confusing emotions, and *turn them into songs*. It’s a way to reclaim my narrative and express what I couldn't say directly. My latest song, the one I just shared, came from exactly that place – a deep need to voice the hurt and the eventual decision to stand firm. Writing this song felt like a necessary step in healing. It’s about acknowledging that I won't get another chance to be hurt by the same pattern, and that I'm sticking to my guns when it comes to self-respect. It’s a declaration that *what's done is done*, and now it's time to move forward. The process isn't just about sharing my story; it's also about connecting with others who might have felt that sting of being used. Music has an incredible way of helping us process deep emotions, whether it's the raw pain you hear in some lyrics or the uplifting spirit of moving on. It’s about transforming those challenging experiences into something meaningful. For me, songwriting is therapy. It’s where I can be completely honest about the disappointment and the strength it takes to say, “enough is enough.” I hope that by sharing my journey, it might inspire others to find their own creative outlets for healing, or simply offer a moment of understanding and solidarity. We all deserve to move past hurt and towards a place of peace and strength. If you ever feel like commenting below with your thoughts, I'd love to hear them!
