... Read moreTo achieve the ultimate fall-off-the-bone texture with your baked ribs, consider using baby back ribs or spare ribs, which are both flavorful and tender cuts. Remember to remove the membrane on the back; this step is crucial for ensuring that the seasoning penetrates the meat effectively. For the seasoning mix, a blend of brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder works wonders. After covering the ribs with mustard, generously apply the seasoning mix on both sides for a balanced flavor. Cooking time and temperature matter significantly—baking at a low temperature like 275°F allows the fat to render slowly while keeping the meat juicy. Once the baking time is complete, flipping the ribs and applying BBQ sauce creates a caramelized top layer, enhancing both texture and taste. Broiling on low for a few minutes provides a beautiful glaze without drying out the meat. Serve your ribs with classic sides like coleslaw or cornbread for a complete meal. Enjoy experimenting with different sauce flavors and let your culinary creativity shine!
