Flowers to press for crafts

Do you press flowers to make crafts with? I start pressing flowers from early spring until the frost takes all the flowers away in fall.

It’s a perfect way to still enjoy flowers from your garden in the middle of winter.

Here’s a list of flowers I will press a lot of:

•Pansies/violas

•Daisies (small rudbeckia flowers)

•Cosmos

•Queen Anne’s lace

•Baby’s breath

•Chrysanthemum

•Celosia

•Calendula

•Leaves

•Herbs/ herb flowers

•Fern leaves

This year I’d like to try:

•poppies

•roses

•lavender

Remember: For best results, press flowers immediately after picking while they are healthy and have no damage.
