Why being fired was the best thing to happen to me
Ik ya probably like “is this ho coo?” 😂 and I promise ya I am. I worked for this company that treated their employees like absolute garbage. If you are not white, they will not welcome you like if you were one of their own the managers talk down to you like your scum and even when you do the most for them they’re still willing to put other people before you. I dealt with coworkers who put in less than half of effort but still work there. I’m somebody that if something’s wrong I’m not gonna keep my mouth shut and that was not something that they liked. Hence the excessive bad treatment and the drama that ALWAYS was going on. It took such a mental, physical and emotional toll on me that I cried every day before going in. But now I am a small business owner working from home and I get to choose what I do and don’t deal with. My mind is at peace and while I’m still stressing with my income, i definitely feel better off. And right now we are making it through so only a few more clients and we’re gonna be thriving 🥰

Getting fired can feel devastating, but it can also be a catalyst for personal growth and transformation. Many people find that leaving a toxic work environment allows them to pursue their true passions and create the life they’ve always wanted. This transition often involves overcoming fears associated with financial instability and stepping into the role of entrepreneur, where they can build their dreams from the ground up. In recent trends, individuals shifting from traditional jobs to entrepreneurship are rising. The empowerment that comes from owning a business not only boosts confidence but also enhances overall well-being. Embracing this change means focusing on personal and professional development, which many find rewarding. It's important to remember that the process takes time, and there may be challenges along the way. Networking with other entrepreneurs, seeking mentorship, and leveraging online resources can significantly aid in this journey. Many successful business owners started from a place of adversity and have used their experiences as fuel to thrive. Thus, being fired can ironically be one of the best things to happen to someone, unlocking the path to renewed purpose and fulfillment in life.
