So, when these two disparate characters exist in the same universe, especially in a game like Marvel Rivals, the question of their mutual understanding becomes fascinating. In Marvel Rivals, character interactions are mostly through battle cries, specific ability voicelines, and general team dynamics. While there are some iconic character-specific quips, a deep, lore-driven conversation between every possible pair isn't typically implemented. This means we don't get a direct cutscene where Namor and Jeff sit down for a chat. However, we can speculate based on their established traits. Namor, with his capacity to command marine life, might possess an innate ability to sense or interpret the intentions of creatures like Jeff. While Jeff isn't a typical fish, he is an aquatic creature, albeit one who prefers land. Namor's connection to the ocean might extend to understanding the primal, instinctual communication of such beings. I think it’s less about Namor understanding Jeff’s "words" and more about understanding his emotional state, his needs, and his general disposition.
