Spreading the love of God❤️

Yesterday while I was working, my assistant Jaimie and I were looking for something quick to eat. We first thought about Chipotle, but for some reason the Lord put it on my heart not to go there. Then I saw a Wawa and felt like God was telling me, “Go there.” Honestly, I didn’t really understand why, but we went.

When we arrived, we saw Maurice sitting on the ground outside the gas station all by himself. I still had roses from a shoot, and the Lord told me, “Go give him a rose and tell him about My love.” So I did. I shared with him how much God loves him and how valuable he is. We prayed with him, and right there Maurice accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Jaimie also prayed for him to receive the Holy Spirit. Maurice was smiling and giggling the whole time🥹🙏🏼

When we asked if he had eaten, he said he hadn’t eaten all day and that what he really wanted was a sausage pizza. So we went inside, bought food for him (and for ourselves), and realized that this Wawa doesn’t have any tables or chairs outside. We ended up sitting right there on the ground together for about 20 minutes, just sharing a meal, laughing about life, cats and dogs, and making a new friend. I even told Maurice jokingly that now we’re his besties and we’ve replaced all his other friends lol He laughed so much and looked genuinely happy

Before we left, I asked if I could take a picture with him to remember the moment, and he said yes. That’s where this picture came from. Maurice does have a home (praise God!) but he’s out of work. He told us he’s really good at landscaping and is looking for a job in the Apopka area. He’s usually at the Wawa in Apopka, Florida.
