I wanna start a podcast 🤍

I’ve always wanted to start one, and i dont even know where to start.

The paranormal has always excited me, and ive had many experiences of my own. I would love to start off with my own stories, and then have like an email or something people could submit their own stories for me to read anonymously.

I have a vtuber model on my pc, and im tempted to use that, record a video thru obs or something, and then find a way to use the audio on spotify and anywhere else.

Would that be cool? I also have some videos of evidence that i love

Since you’ve mentioned having a Vtuber model and wanting to record video through OBS, that’s a fantastic way to engage listeners visually and add a unique touch to your podcast. Here are some helpful tips to get you started: First, consider planning your podcast episodes around themes or types of paranormal stories, like haunted locations, ghost encounters, or supernatural legends. This will keep your content organized and appealing. Next, setting up an email or online form where listeners can anonymously submit their stories creates interactive engagement. It allows you to build community and gather fresh content while respecting privacy. For recording, OBS Studio is a great tool that supports video capture of your Vtuber avatar while you narrate your stories. Once you’ve recorded, extract the audio to create your podcast episodes. To publish on Spotify and other platforms, you’ll need to use a podcast hosting service like Anchor, Podbean, or Libsyn, which distribute your episodes to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other directories. These platforms often provide analytics to track your audience growth. Since you also have videos of paranormal evidence, sharing them alongside your podcast episodes on social media or YouTube can enhance your reach and credibility. Remember, consistency is key. Set a publishing schedule that is manageable, like weekly or biweekly episodes, to keep your audience engaged. Finally, interact with your listeners through social media or podcast communities using hashtags like #paranormalpodcast and #horrorpodcast to build your fanbase. With these steps, you can confidently start your paranormal podcast journey and share your passion with a growing audience across multiple platforms.

You can type in Google or download “Spotify podcast” and make an account. From there you can create your page and upload audio and your account will track analytics for your episodes. There’s also a comment section in the app so if you want people to submit stories or prompts this may seem like a good option. Hope this helps!
