Watching & Reviewing The Movie Wicked 🎬
Wicked (2024) Review – Didn’t expect to love this, but here we are. 🤣
Okay, I’ll be honest—I went into Wicked thinking it was just gonna be a glittery musical for theater kids… but it actually slapped. 🎬
Ariana Grande, as Glinda, surprised me. She pulled off the whole overly perfect, high-energy thing and was perfect for the role. Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, though? She stole the whole movie. Her voice? Insane. Her acting? Even better.
Visually, this movie was a trip. The sets, the colors, the costumes—felt like I was in Oz for real. Also, the way they fleshed out Elphaba’s story made me see the Wicked Witch in a whole new light.
Final take:
Would I watch it again? Yeah, probably.
Would I admit I got emotional during “Defying Gravity”? …no comment. 🤣
Rating: 4.5/5
It's definitely worth watching, even if musicals aren’t usually your thing.
