When you pray, God listens, when you listens God talks, when you believe God works🙏🏾Lord I’m available to you🥺🙌🏾💃🏾
Hey everyone! 👋 You know, sometimes life gets so busy that it's easy to forget all the wonderful things we have. That's why the idea of 'counting our blessings' resonates so deeply with me. It’s not just a phrase; it’s a daily practice that has truly transformed my outlook on life. For me, counting blessings isn't about ignoring challenges, but rather about consciously shifting my focus to the good, no matter how small. It’s about recognizing that divine grace is always at work, even when things feel tough. I truly believe that when we pray, God listens intently, and in those quiet moments when we take the time to truly listen, God talks to our hearts. And when we believe, truly believe, in His loving presence, that's when we see His work unfold in miraculous ways. I’ve found that starting my day with gratitude sets such a positive tone. Instead of immediately jumping into my to-do list, I take a few moments to appreciate something simple – the warmth of my coffee, a sunny morning, or just waking up feeling healthy. It’s amazing how this small shift can change everything. It’s like creating my own little 'blessings ministry' right here in my daily routine! If you're looking to bring more gratitude into your life, here are a few things that have really helped me on my journey, especially as we look forward to a hopeful and blessed start to the new year, maybe even for 2025: Gratitude Journaling: This is a classic for a reason! Every evening, I try to jot down 3-5 things I'm grateful for that day. They don't have to be grand gestures; sometimes it’s just a kind word from a stranger or a beautiful sunset. It helps me to reflect on God's goodness throughout my day. Mindful Moments: Throughout the day, I try to pause and simply notice the good. It could be the sound of laughter, the comfort of my home, or even just a moment of peace in a busy schedule. These little pauses remind me that blessings are all around us. Share Your Blessings: Sometimes, the best way to count your blessings is to share them with others. A simple 'thank you' to someone who helped you, or expressing appreciation to a loved one, not only brightens their day but reinforces your own gratitude. It’s a wonderful way to spread the goodness. Prayer of Thanks: Beyond asking for guidance, I make sure to dedicate time in my prayers specifically for thanks. Acknowledging all the ways God has shown up for me, whether big or small, deepens my spiritual connection. It's a reminder that I am available to Him and open to His blessings. Embracing this mindset has made me feel so much more connected and at peace. It's a continuous journey, but one that fills my heart with joy and hope for what's to come, especially as we step into new beginnings. What are some of your favorite ways to count your blessings? I'd love to hear them! Let's inspire each other to live a life full of gratitude.
