Traveling through 15 different states across the U.S. has been an incredible adventure filled with unique experiences and unforgettable sights. Among my favorites, Arizona stands out for its stunning desert landscapes and iconic Grand Canyon, a natural wonder that every traveler should witness at least once. California offers a diverse range of attractions from sunny beaches and vibrant cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco to the peaceful redwood forests. Colorado's mountain scenery and outdoor activities like hiking and skiing provide a refreshing escape into nature. North Carolina offers a mix of beautiful coastlines along the Outer Banks and charming mountain towns like Asheville. Living in Bavaria, Germany for three years enriched my perspective on travel and culture. Bavaria’s rich history, beautiful alpine scenery, and vibrant festivals like Oktoberfest made it a remarkable place to call home temporarily. Being an Army spouse, I had the privilege to explore both the U.S. and Europe, which heightened my appreciation for diverse cultures and breathtaking landscapes. One challenge I’ve noticed while frequently moving or traveling is missing the freedom to explore spontaneously. The excitement of discovering new destinations, trying local cuisine, and meeting new people is truly unmatched.
