End of the year TBR
I have a really good stack of books to pick pick from this month between these and my holiday TBR. This stack is from my left over books for 25 in 2025 and 10 before the end.
How is your TBR looking this month?
As the year draws to a close, many readers focus on sorting out their to-be-read (TBR) lists to finish strong and set goals for the new year. Whether you’re tackling a challenge like "25 in 2025" or simply enjoying a mix of holiday reads, organizing your TBR can bring a lot of joy and purpose to your reading habits. Popular titles featured in end-of-year TBR piles often include cherished classics and current bestsellers. For example, the Harry Potter series remains a fan favorite with its timeless charm. Many readers also add compelling historical novels such as "The Tattooist of Auschwitz" by Heather Morris, a National Bestseller that poignantly recounts a harrowing true story, bringing depth and emotional resonance to your reading list. In addition to these, a variety of genres keep readers engaged. Thrillers, fantasy, and contemporary fiction win spots in the stack, with trending series like "Tryst Six Venom" or "Five Brothers Flock" gaining buzz. Holiday reading is also a chance to explore lighthearted or escapist reads alongside more intense or meaningful stories, balancing entertainment with enrichment. Taking on hashtags and challenges such as #tbrchallenge, #2025tbr, or #10beforetheend creates a sense of community and motivation. Sharing your progress on social platforms can inspire others and help you stay accountable. It’s a wonderful way to connect with fellow readers and discover new books that might not have been on your radar. When curating your TBR, consider mixing genres and authors to keep your reading experience fresh and dynamic. This approach allows you to absorb different perspectives and storytelling styles, which can enhance your overall enjoyment. Finally, remember that a TBR is a guide, not a rulebook. Flexibility is key—allow yourself to be spontaneous when a new book catches your eye or when you want to revisit an old favorite. This way, your reading journey remains a fulfilling and personal adventure. How’s your TBR looking this month? Are you ready to dive into these popular titles and complete your reading goals before the year’s end?
