Mountain Boss by S.J. Tilly (Workplace Romance)

I was a little skeptical on if I was going to like this book at first and about how short the chapters were, but both got better and better as the book went on for me. Courtney getting caught talking to herself was entertaining so was how she was with her plant and Lady Bear. The spicy in it was really fun, especially at first dabbling with some exibitionism. I'm curious who the rest of this series is going to be about.

Having read 'Mountain Boss' by S.J. Tilly myself, I can say it’s a refreshing take on the workplace romance genre. Courtney’s candid moments, like talking to herself and caring for her plant and Lady Bear, brought a genuine, relatable charm to the book. It reminded me how small quirks in characters can add warmth and realism to a romance novel. The inclusion of themes like age gap and found family enhanced the emotional depth, making it more than just your typical romance. One standout aspect was the spice factor. The moments of exhibitionism and sensual exploration added excitement without feeling gratuitous, which I appreciated.
