The Ever King by LJ Andrews (Romantasy)
As I expected I really enjoyed this book, I really need to read more of LJ Andrews books. I really enjoyed how she blended Pirate and Viking in this one, it made it really interesting (cannot wait to continue this series and see where it goes). Loved the world building done, the back story between the MC's, the side characters were great and just got better as you learned more about them. I kind of want a book about Gavyn or about Celine.

I’ve found that LJ Andrews' storytelling encourages readers to anticipate more from the series, as it leaves plenty of room for character exploration, such as stories about Gavyn or Celine. Overall, "The Ever King" is a refreshing addition to the romantasy genre. Its creative mix of pirate and Viking lore, compelling character dynamics, and thoughtful world-building contribute to an enjoyable and emotionally engaging experience that I would gladly recommend to fans of fantasy romance.
