As the holiday season approaches, there's nothing quite like curling up with a Christmas novella that captures the warmth and spirit of the season. "Under the Mistletoe" by Amber Palmer seems to be the perfect choice this year, especially for fans of heartfelt stories featuring strong family bonds and holiday cheer. From what I've gathered, the story revolves around the beloved Hayes girls, promising a return to characters readers have come to love. It's exciting to see a novella set in the holiday season because it often brings an extra layer of emotion and joy, weaving themes of love, forgiveness, and festivity seamlessly. What particularly intrigued me is that "Under the Mistletoe" is available through Kindle Unlimited, making it easily accessible for many readers. The release date on November 17, 2026, is perfect timing to get into the festive mood early. The mention of "Dear Santa" and "Found Family" in the cover’s OCR text points to a narrative that likely explores deep connections and perhaps the magic of new beginnings under the mistletoe. Additionally, the reference to an "Older MC" (main character) can hint at a mature, relatable protagonist, which adds a wonderful depth and perspective to the typical holiday romance or family story. The setting hinted at by the phrase "a little bar fucked between the pines" suggests a cozy, rustic atmosphere that fits the holiday novella perfectly, making it feel authentic and inviting. Personally, I find that holiday stories like this are not just about romance or family reunions but also about hope and the rediscovery of joy. They remind us of the importance of cherishing moments with loved ones and embracing the magic that the season brings, no matter how challenging the year might have been. If you’re a fan of Amber Palmer or simply love heartwarming holiday reads, "Under the Mistletoe" seems like a delightful addition to your seasonal reading list. Keeping an eye out for this book on Kindle Unlimited would be a great idea to enjoy an early celebration of Christmas spirit through books.
