When I first started out as a Christian Artist on YouTube, honestly, 500 subscribers felt like a distant dream. But seeing my channel, 'Royanne Mitchell | Christian Artist,' grow from 0 to now 410 subscribers (and counting!), with 89 videos under my belt, has taught me so much.
One of the biggest questions I often hear is, "What is my purpose to like and subscribe?" For me, it's about creating a space where faith and creativity intersect. My purpose is to inspire, encourage, and connect with others through my art and my walk with God. When you find your genuine purpose, your content naturally resonates. People subscribe and like because they connect with you and the value you bring. Think about what unique perspective you offer. Are you a Christian Creator sharing devotionals, a homemaker with practical tips, or a beauty enthusiast? Nailing down your niche helps you attract the right audience who will truly engage with your content.
Now, "how to get 500 subscribers on YouTube" is the million-dollar question, right? From my experience, consistency is absolutely key. Looking back at my 89 videos, I can see how showing up regularly, even when views were low, slowly built momentum. It's not always about viral hits; it's about building a consistent body of work. I also focused on engaging with my audience – responding to comments, asking questions in my videos, and really listening to what they wanted to see. Don't be afraid to experiment with different video formats, but always stay true to your core message. For me, as a Christian Artist, that means ensuring my message aligns with my faith.
Beyond consistency, I found that promoting my videos thoughtfully helped a lot. Sharing snippets on Instagram stories, telling my friends and family, and even using relevant hashtags (like #youtubemotivation or #christiancreator) made a difference. It’s like casting a wider net! Don't forget the basics of YouTube SEO too; using descriptive titles and thoughtful descriptions that include keywords helps YouTube understand what your video is about, making it easier for people to find you.
The journey to "almost everything YouTube channel" success, or even just reaching your initial goals, isn't always easy. There are days when you doubt yourself, and growth feels slow. But remembering my purpose – to share God's message through my art – keeps me going. It's about finding joy in the process and trusting in God's timing and speed, just as I mentioned in my original post. Every subscriber, every comment, every like is a sign that your impact is growing. Don't compare your beginning to someone else's middle. Keep creating, keep learning, and most importantly, keep enjoying the journey. You've got this!
