Grateful for the right PDI!
“One of the best decisions I made — switching instructor. Passed in just a few lessons! 🙌💖
Shout-out to my amazing 3A PDI **MR TAN LAI SOON** aka Raymond🤲🏻"
After 2 years of frustration, tears, and still not passing my TP with my first instructor… I was nearly giving up. I solat Istikharah asking for guidance from ALLAH SWT should I change instructor or not?
Then he came into the picture — calm, clear, so patient… and gave me the confidence I never had before. Spotting every single mistakes and correcting it was a blessing in a short period of time.
Within just a few lessons, he helped me pass my TP!
I’m honestly so blessed he took me in last-minute when I was already doubting myself.
I didn't wanna give up because I am shifting house soon and BBDC is too far for me. I didn't want to change to the UBI - ComfortDelGro Driving Centre...
Explaining to him my situation...and I thought when he paused while we were talking as he already mentioned he was Fully Booked, I really thought I didn't stand a chance having him as my instructor.
Alhamdulillah, trust Allah SWT plans and never despair. It was indeed a blessing when he said, ok...now go and see the TP date and then book it, send it to him the date I booked, he will text and send me the details later...🥲🥲🥲 as simple as that.
MāShaAllah Tabarakallah Alhamdulillah 🤲🏻
If you’re struggling or feeling stuck, PLEASE don’t give up. Sometimes all it takes is the right person to guide you the right way. 🙏
Forever grateful to my instructor, you made the impossible happen. Alhamdulillah 14/03 a date to remember.

If you are feeling stuck in your driving journey like I was, it really helps to consider switching your instructor. From my experience, Mr Tan Lai Soon was calm and patient, focusing on identifying every mistake and helping me correct them quickly. This allowed me to build confidence and overcome my fears. One important tip I learned is to communicate openly with your instructor about your concerns and schedule. Despite Mr Tan telling me he was fully booked, he found time for me at the last minute, which made all the difference. I recommend booking your test date early and sharing it with your instructor to get their support. Additionally, praying and seeking guidance gave me peace of mind during the stressful times. Trusting the process and having a mentor who believes in you are key in making progress. If you’re shifting homes or face logistical challenges like moving away from your current driving centre, talk to your instructor about flexible options. Remember, sometimes the right instructor can turn frustration into success quickly. Don’t be afraid to switch if you feel you’re not progressing. I’m thankful to have found Mr Tan, who helped me pass my TP test with confidence and set a date worth remembering. Keep faith, stay patient, and keep driving forward!
