🤱 Breastfeeding in Islamic Perspective
Islam highly honors the role of "mother."
And one of the great amanas that Allah has given me.
Is to care for and nurture the baby with kindness.
📖 Allah said,
And mothers, breastfeed their children two years for those who wish to complete their breastfeeding.
(Surah. Alba 2: 233)
This Aya reflects the importance of breast milk.
As the best food for babies.
Physically, mentally and emotionally,
Breast milk is the Riski from Allah, the milk that is poured out in the breasts, the Riski that Allah has provided for the baby in moderation at all ages, as evidence of His mercy.
🤍 Islam emphasizes mercy, not force.
Despite Islam's promotion of breastfeeding, religion opens up options; if the mother is needed or constrained, Islam values competence, health and well-being.
Of mother and son without blame or pressure.
Every sacrifice of the mother is Ibadah, and the fatigue, patience, and love of raising children are Ibadah.
Which Allah sees and rewards beautifully.
Supporting the mother is the duty of the family and society.
Helping, encouraging and not judging is the practice of mercy in Islam.

จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวและการเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับการเลี้ยงลูกในบริบทของอิสลาม ผมพบว่าการเลี้ยงลูกด้วยนมแม่ไม่เพียงแต่เป็นหน้าที่ทางกายภาพของแม่เท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นการปฏิบัติศาสนาและการแสดงออกถึงความเมตตาที่ลึกซึ้งของอัลลอฮ์ต่อมนุษย์ ในอิสลาม นมแม่ถูกมองว่าเป็น 'ริสกี' หรือของขวัญจากพระเจ้า ซึ่งจัดสรรมาให้เหมาะสมกับวัยและความต้องการของทารก การให้นมแม่จึงไม่ใช่เพียงการให้อาหารทางกาย แต่ยังเป็นการเสริมสร้างสายใยความผูกพันระหว่างแม่และลูกอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ตัวอายะห์จากซูเราะฮฺ อัลบะเกาะเราะฮฺที่กล่าวถึงการให้นมบุตรครบสองปี ยิ่งตอกย้ำความสำคัญและความอดทนในบทบาทของแม่ แต่สิ่งที่สำคัญไม่แพ้กันคืออิสลามนั้นไม่เน้นการบังคับ หากแม่มีเหตุจำเป็นที่ไม่สามารถให้นมแม่ได้ ศาสนาจะให้ความเคารพและเปิดทางเลือกโดยไม่ตัดสิน การเน้นย้ำเรื่องความเมตตาและการไม่กดดันจึงสะท้อนถึงความเข้าใจถึงสถานการณ์ของแม่และลูกอย่างลึกซึ้ง จากมุมมองการเลี้ยงลูกแบบ UGC (User-Generated Content) การที่ครอบครัวและสังคมรวมถึงชุมชนรอบข้างช่วยสนับสนุนแม่ไม่ว่าจะด้วยการให้กำลังใจ หรือช่วยแบ่งเบาภาระ ถือเป็นการปฏิบัติตามคำสอนอิสลามอย่างแท้จริง เพราะทุกการเสียสละของแม่ถือเป็นอิบาดะฮ์ นำมาซึ่งรางวัลและการตอบแทนสูงจากอัลลอฮ์ ด้วยเหตุนี้ ผู้ที่สนใจและกำลังผ่านกระบวนการเลี้ยงลูกด้วยนมแม่ในบริบทของอิสลามจึงไม่ควรละเลยการรับรู้ถึงความเมตตาและการสนับสนุนจากสังคม เพราะมันไม่ได้เป็นเพียงหน้าที่ธรรมดา แต่เป็นกิจกรรมที่เชื่อมโยงกับศรัทธาและความเชื่ออย่างลึกซึ้ง
