Hey everyone, Ruby here again! You might know me as the brown boxer dog whose mom runs this account, or maybe you just stumbled upon my little corner of the internet. Either way, I'm thrilled you're here to get to know me better! Life is pretty amazing when you're a dog, especially when you have a 'bestie' (that's my mom!) who makes sure every day is an adventure. Speaking of adventures, you know that picture of me on the beach? Oh, that was one of my absolute favorite days! The sun was just starting to dip, casting that incredible golden sunset glow everywhere. I remember splashing in the shallow water, feeling the cool waves on my paws. It was such a warm, vibrant scene, and my mom somehow managed to capture me looking right at her, right at the camera, just soaking it all in. Those beach walks are my happy place. There’s nothing quite like the smell of the salty air, the feel of the sand between my toes (or paws, rather!), and the endless horizon. Every visit feels like a new discovery, a new splash, a new scent to investigate! Most days, my life is a mix of naps, zoomies, and demanding belly rubs. I wake up, usually with an insistent nudge to my mom's hand, ready for breakfast. Then it's playtime! I have a whole collection of squeaky toys that barely stand a chance against my enthusiastic chewing. After a good romp in the yard or a long walk around the neighborhood, it's prime nap time. I'm a big believer in beauty sleep, you know. Sometimes, I even get to snuggle up with my mom while she works – my favorite kind of supervision! But I also love exploring new places. Whether it's a new hiking trail where I can sniff all the exciting smells, a dog park where I can chase after my friends, or simply a new patch of grass in our backyard, I approach everything with boundless energy and curiosity. My mom always says I live life on my own terms, and it's true! Unless she says 'no,' of course, which usually means I can't eat that interesting-looking leaf or 'borrow' her socks. Those are minor setbacks in an otherwise perfect existence. I’ve learned that sometimes 'no' just means 'not right now,' and I'm pretty good at waiting patiently (mostly!). This account, rubi19918, is kind of my diary. It’s where my mom shares snippets of my daily life, my goofy moments, and those breathtaking experiences like the beach sunset. She wants to show everyone the joy and unconditional love a dog like me brings into a home.
