🚨 CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS! 🚨

To keep this event organized, safe, and powerful, we are asking for community volunteers to step up and help us on-site.

We need:

✅ Peace Marshals (help maintain calm and order)

✅ Parking Lot Attendants (help direct parking and traffic flow)

✅ General Event Volunteers (setup, crowd assistance, cleanup, and support)

This is a peaceful, lawful protest, and we want to represent Northwest Indiana with strength, discipline, and unity.

If you can volunteer, please message this page directly or comment “VOLUNTEER” below and we will contact you with instructions.

💪🏽 Let’s show NIPSCO and our lawmakers that NWI is united and we are done being ignored.

The call for Peace Marshals is especially important as they help maintain calm among participants and manage interactions responsibly, which upholds the peaceful nature of the protest. I have seen how effective parking lot attendants are, too, reducing traffic chaos and enabling smooth access for attendees. The specific issues raised about NIPSCO, including mysterious delivery charge hikes exceeding $150 a month and faulty smart meters causing billing confusion, resonate deeply with many residents. From my experience, these problems often hit seniors and fixed-income families hardest, increasing financial stress dramatically. It’s crucial that protests like these highlight demands such as immediate rate transparency, a freeze on delivery charge increases, and accountability for faulty meters. Bringing signs, voices, and neighbors together in a lawful, disciplined protest shows a united front that lawmakers and utility companies cannot ignore. Volunteering on-site not only supports the logistics but also strengthens community resilience and empowers residents as advocates for fairness and justice. If you’re in Northwest Indiana, stepping up as a volunteer is a meaningful way to contribute directly to this cause and ensure that Northwest Indiana’s voice is heard loud and clear on March 7th.
