When they hear part of the past
I’m not talking about my past to people I don’t really realize all the dramatic things that I’ve actually dealt with a child especially up until the age of 21 I got out of it was basically telling I did not know I could escape anytime sooner I mean, I knew I could, but I thought I had no one And when you think you have no one then there’s no way to escape right that’s what I thought. I tried running away in the past when I was in high school. I didn’t get far. I came back all the times I came back just get my ass doesn’t matter childhood. It’s not like anyone’s gonna understand mine. Here’s a little glimpse of it I guess. #unsettling #unfiltered #Lemon8Diary
When someone hears my full story, it can be a transformative experience, both for me and the listener. Sharing our narratives allows us to reflect on the past and connect on a deeper level. Many individuals, like myself, grapple with the complexities of their formative years—filled with struggles and resilience. It's essential to understand that those childhood experiences, whether they led to feelings of isolation or experimentation with escape, are valid and significant. At our core, we often seek understanding and validation, hoping to bridge the gap between our past and present. Remember, for many, speaking about their childhood is not just about reliving the pain; it's about healing and enabling others to empathize or relate to similar experiences. The hashtag #unsettling encapsulates the raw emotions often tied to these stories, while #unfiltered encourages authenticity in sharing. Moreover, a diary-like approach as in #Lemon8Diary, allows us to document our journeys and growth. This platform fosters a community where individuals can recount their experiences safely, finding solidarity and support through shared struggles. Navigating through life is challenging, and recognizing that others have walked similar paths can profoundly impact our healing process. Each story shapes our identities, building resilience and offering hope as we move forward.
