Cruises can be/are affordable! It all comes down to the time of year, type of ship, cruise line and destination.
As a 25 yr old, my favorite line is Celebrity. It’s affordable for the annual vacation but once you’re in the cruise offer loop, it’s affordable for any time you want to get away. I start receiving offers in January and haven’t stopped receiving them at least weekly.
A cruise priced at even $2000 is worth it for the amenities you receive. A hotel at a popular beach would run you at least $250 and that’s before food and activities are considered. The best part of a cruise is you can do it without all the extras easily. They have amazing included food and water accessible at all times in the buffet. Often, they’ll offer free drinks at certain events, so you can make the bar included if you keep an eye out as well.
Considering the stay alone, a cruise will far outweigh the value of staying at an ocean front hotel.
