My favorite foods from NYC, Philly, and Baltimore!

During my food journey across New York City, Philadelphia, and Baltimore, I discovered some unique dishes that truly stand out and offer a taste of each city's culinary identity. In New York City, the colorful Rainbow Bagels caught my eye with their vibrant appearance and soft, chewy texture. These bagels are a fun twist on the classic and pair perfectly with cream cheese or smoked salmon. Particularly in NYC, exploring bagel shops reveals just how much variety the city offers. Philadelphia surprised me with several local favorites. The Philly croquettes, crispy on the outside and filled with a flavorful mixture inside, made for an incredible snack. I also tried the Shirley Temple, a classic non-alcoholic drink that added a nostalgic and refreshing touch to my dining experience. Philly’s lemonade, often homemade and fresh, also provided a delightful balance of tartness and sweetness that paired well with savory bites. Baltimore's seafood offerings were a highlight—especially the famous crab cakes. Their rich, lump crab meat combined with subtle seasoning made them a must-try. Another indulgence was the lobster mac and cheese, a creamy, comforting dish that blended two favorites into one perfect bite. These dishes embody Baltimore’s strong connection to Chesapeake Bay and the seafood culture surrounding it. Throughout my travels, Starbucks came as a common friend in every city—offering familiar comfort and a quick caffeine boost before heading to the next food adventure. Trying new foods can be intimidating, but jumping out of my comfort zone led to wonderful discoveries.
