happy 6 years 🖤

september 6, 2025 marked 6 years spent with the love of all my lives… my best friend. my husband nathan.

the first picture was taken in 2019 on our first date trip to california. yes our first date and vacation all in one. we have since then spent almost every moment together. it has been such an honor to have such an incredible person by my side as we’ve both grown (and continue to grow) into the best versions of ourselves. he makes me love life. he makes me feel awake, rested, excited, and at peace all at once. he’s my home in human form. my everything.

the last picture was from just a couple weeks ago. we’ve been married for almost 4 years, together for 6. every second of every day i love him more than the second and day before. even when i feel as if i can’t possibly feel any deeper for him i always do. my love always grows. i’m so lucky to have found my person at such a young age, yet all the time in the world wouldn’t be enough. happy six years to us. i love you so much nathan. forever and even after that.

... Read moreIt’s hard to believe it’s already been six incredible years since Nathan and I officially started our journey together. Looking back, it feels like just yesterday we were standing in front of the iconic Hollywood sign on our very first date trip to California back in 2019. Who knew that spontaneous adventure would set the stage for everything that followed? That trip wasn't just a first date; it was a glimpse into a future filled with shared laughter, unwavering support, and endless exploration. Building a love that lasts six years, and feels stronger than ever, isn't always a fairytale, but it’s definitely the most rewarding work I’ve ever done. We've certainly had our share of growth spurts, both individually and as a couple. One of the biggest lessons we’ve learned is the power of open communication. It sounds simple, but truly listening to each other, even when it’s difficult, has been our superpower. We make it a point to check in regularly, not just about practical things, but about our dreams, fears, and how we're truly feeling. This constant dialogue helps us stay connected and understand each other’s evolving needs. Another key to our enduring love has been our commitment to creating new memories and adventures. From romantic balcony kisses overlooking city streets to quiet moments in snowy landscapes, we’ve always prioritized experiencing life together. It’s not always about grand gestures; sometimes it’s the simple act of cuddling on the couch, laughing at an inside joke, or supporting each other's hobbies. We try to keep the spark alive by surprising each other, planning spontaneous dates, and making sure we still "date" even after years of marriage. We believe in celebrating small victories and appreciating the everyday magic we share. For anyone hoping to cultivate a relationship as fulfilling as ours, I’d offer a few pieces of advice: Firstly, never stop learning about your partner. People change and grow, and adapting together is crucial. Secondly, be each other’s biggest cheerleaders. Celebrate successes, big or small, and be a comforting presence during tough times. Thirdly, find joy in the mundane. The everyday moments are where true connection often deepens. Finally, always remember why you fell in love in the first place. For us, it’s that feeling of being completely at peace, yet utterly excited, all at once – the feeling that Nathan is truly my home, and has been since 2019, and will be long past 2025. Here’s to many more years of love, growth, and adventure!
