Osaka Eats 🤤

1. Tonkatsu Daiki

Best Tonkatsu I had ever, the meat was so tender, esp the round cut ones

/Tonkatsu Daiki: 1 Chome-6-2 Higashishinsaibashi, Chuo Ward, Osaka, 542-0083, Japan

2. Kuromon Maru

Located in Kuromon Market

We ordered the simple melon to try and it was so sweet and juicy! Ice cream was also one of the milkiest I had

/Maru: 2 Chome-13-14 Nipponbashi, Chuo Ward, Osaka, 542-0073, Japan

3. Gyukatsu Tomita

Life changing gyukatsu, each customer is given a personal stove to sear the meat to perfection! The meat was soo tender

/Gyukatsu Tomita: Japan, 〒556-0011 Osaka, Naniwa Ward, Nanbanaka, 2 Chome−3−1 2階

4. Yakitori Cassiwa Chayamachi

We were looking for a Yakitori place and stumbled on this one near our accoms. Super yummy and flavourful

/Yakitori Cassiwa Chayamachi: 1 Chome-7-2 Shibata, Kita Ward, Osaka, 530-0012, Japan

5. Cafe Tipo8

Really aesthetic cafe serving legit coffee - they roast their own beans 🫘. Near to Umeda sky building, nice place to relax after lots of walking

/CAFE TIPO8: 5 Chome-2-9 Nakatsu, Kita Ward, Osaka, 531-0071, Japan

Special mention:

6. Okonomiyaki Sakura

We were also looking for Okonomiyaki and found this place in the basement of Umeda station. Need to order 1 per person, so can be quite filling. But the Okonomiyaki was great when paired with their Asashi beer

/Okonomiyaki Sakura: 9-10 Kakudacho, Kita Ward, Osaka, 530-0017, Japan

Happy eating! :)

Kuromon Maru offers a vibrant experience in Kuromon Market, where the sweetness of their fresh melon and creamiest ice cream provide a refreshing break from savory dishes. One highlight was Gyukatsu Tomita, where the interactive personal grill made searing the tender beef a fun and memorable experience, allowing you to enjoy the meat perfectly cooked to your preference. For those craving grilled delights, Yakitori Cassiwa Chayamachi near central Osaka delivers rich flavors and juicy skewers that are a must-try. After a day of sightseeing, Cafe Tipo8 near the Umeda Sky Building serves freshly roasted coffee beans, making it a cozy spot to unwind and reflect on your food adventures. Lastly, don’t miss Okonomiyaki Sakura at Umeda Station’s basement—ordering one per person ensures you have enough to satisfy your appetite while pairing perfectly with their thirst-quenching Asahi beer.
