Life Is Precious

#lemon8diarychallenge

Ik i don’t come on here and really talk about personal things, but this morning i was informed that one of my older relatives passed away this morning.

Even though I know that death is a part of life and we should take it as a way to celebrate what the person has accomplished in their life, it’s still hard not to grieve. I’ve been feeling nauseous all day, and i don’t know how to deal with my emotions. when i was younger, i always had to hide them because of how my family would react. “if u cry you’re weak” then i guess i’m weak, but u know what i also am? human

today is just another stepping stone towards me becoming the strong woman i am meant to become, i just have to take it one step at a time, and cherish every moment of it

Grief is a personal journey, and everyone copes differently. Understanding that feeling vulnerable isn't a weakness is crucial; it's part of being human. In moments of sorrow, it's essential to lean on support systems, whether friends, family, or professional help. Sharing your feelings with others can alleviate some of the burdens of grief. Remembering the good times spent with those we've lost can provide comfort. Celebrate their lives by reflecting on cherished memories and honoring their legacy. Writing a letter to the departed or keeping a journal about your feelings might help you process your emotions. Life's challenges, though painful, often lead to growth and resilience. As you navigate tough times, consider seeking resources like grief support groups, which offer a sense of community. Engaging in activities that bring you joy and allowing yourself to grieve at your own pace are important during this journey. Ultimately, embracing the preciousness of life can empower you to move forward, creating new memories while keeping the past close to your heart.
