I GOT MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!! ☆☆☆ mashaaAllah tabarakallah

in my humble opinion, from my pov, my wedding was perfect. and I cannot be more grateful and thankful to every single one who made the day happen. everything went real smooth. and all my moodboards were envisioned, and made even better than I expected. my husband (!!!) and I had so much fun on the day of too, and we are soooo happy for how the day turned out. big thank yous to our families, our cousins, our aunts and uncles and esp our bridesmaids and groomsmen for making the day perfect in our eyes. truly my husband and I are the most thankful ❤️

i made moodboards for EVERYTHING and truly, all our vendors and family made everything look even better than I thought. whatever I thought, it came out perfect, the way I like it.

1. outfits by Atik Collection Group & Benjamin Barker

we planned for 3 outfits, all to be tailored by a family friend except for my husband's suit (bought at Benjamin Barker). we gave her inspos for all the outfits and it was executed to perfection. I knew from the start the kind of outfits I want- the moodboard was made in Apr 2025 before the merisik, and my mind did not change. in Jun 2025, my family & i went to Tanah Abang in Jakarta and we bought the necessary cloth required. based on the moodboard, the tailor gave her input, and tweaked some stuff but I love it.

2. make up by Tia from The Wedding Brocade (tia_twb on IG)

i booked my MUA alacarte as we already had our outfits tailored. I rlyyyyy loved the looks from the wedding brocade, so I just hired them for peace of mind. went in blind, but again, I truly loved the outcome. Tia was also super godsend, it truly felt like I had an additional bridesmaid 🥹 she helped with soooo much she didnt even have to help with, and i am truly grateful for her presence. also helps that she's super calming. my nerves were insane pre-nikah, but her vibes >

3. wedding bouquet by Fleurs by Spoleczny

my bouquet was real pretty, but it was a little too pink for my liking. to be fair, I told my bridesmaid to give the florist freedom as long as it matched my outfits, and it did. so actually I got no complaints.

4. dulangs by my family

thank goodness for artist eyes in my bloodline because my family bought the dulang itself and then fresh flowers from far east flora, got it delivered to the hotel prior to the event. they only started working on it on Friday night (!!! my nikah was at 9 the next morning) but it turned out perfect again.

5. henna by The Henna Story

i booked a morning slot at 9am (can you believe i actually booked her in mid 2025, but she was alr out of slots for henna sessions for my wedding date) and it felt FOREVER until I can remove the plaster to peel off my henna. it was reallllly pretty tho, and she did it as my moodboard and i am so thankful!

6. wedding invites by Ohndaisy

the package that I booked came with invites but they were templates and im not about that life, so i hired this designer to make the cards for me! she really understood my vision and brought it to live, and again, even better than whatever i envisioned. she was also super patient with our many revisions and versions- we ended up with 4 official invites. we printed it ourselves but heck I love it so much.

6. pelamin/decor by Vynella Events

Vynella is known to be expensive but their work is real quality. i really felt like i got what I paid for. again, whatever was in the moodboard came to life. it just feels like a fever dream. a fairytale in real life ykwim.

... Read morePlanning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but having a clear vision and moodboards for every aspect made such a huge difference in creating a cohesive, beautiful celebration. In my experience, moodboards aren’t just for inspiration—they serve as a communication tool with your vendors and family, helping everyone understand exactly what you want. For example, carefully selecting outfit inspirations early on enabled my tailor to craft pieces that felt truly personal and perfect. The wedding day itself went smoother than I ever dreamed possible, largely because I trusted my vendors and family to execute the plan with care. I learned that booking talented professionals like my makeup artist ahead of time is well worth it—even when going in “blind,” their expertise transforms your look beyond your imagination and eases nerves. Having someone calm and supportive by my side was invaluable, especially during stressful moments. Involving family in traditions such as preparing the dulangs added a meaningful, hands-on touch that made the day feel even more special. Their artistic instincts created arrangements that aligned beautifully with my themes, despite working under last-minute timing. Also, giving certain vendors creative freedom—like the florist—while providing them guidelines ensures a balance between professional artistry and your personal style. The outcome might surprise you with fresh ideas that still perfectly complement your vision. Finally, investing in quality decor and photography captured the magic for us to cherish forever. The venue ambiance, food, dessert selections, and videography all contributed to making the wedding feel like a real-life fairytale. If you’re planning your own big day, I recommend starting early with moodboards, selecting vendors based on their style and reliability, and embracing flexibility where appropriate. Your wedding day is a celebration of love and collaboration, and having that trust makes all the difference to how perfect the day truly feels.

I’ve always wanted to join these workouts but never had the courage to. As an introvert, it is hard for me to join these activities alone. But I finally did it! honestly…. i don’t know if i picked the right class because this was under the “active ageing” group and well, most were aunties and a

The logo outside isn’t loud or flashy, but one look and you can tell the coffee here isn’t taken lightly. I ordered a Black and stood by the bar, watching the barista pull the espresso. Something about the way she worked — calm, focused — felt pretty cool to watch. The sound of the machine, t

Fluid Coffee Roasters | Coffee Run #31
With a cafe in front and bean roasting at the back, Fluid is a pure coffee stop with no bake goods to distract you. The flat white ($6) I chose was well bodied, aromatic with a fruity profile. They serve a seriously good cup of coffee with a level of depth. The location is kind of in the middle
