I used to feel pressured by the "skinny" trend, constantly worrying about calories and restricting what I ate, which drained my energy and made it harder to enjoy physical activities. However, once I focused on nourishing my body with wholesome meals that support muscle building and recovery, I found myself stronger and more resilient. Carrying my 30 lb toddler while pregnant was a real test of strength, but proper nutrition gave me the stamina and muscle power to do it comfortably. The idea of a dream body shifted from being about a certain look to what my body can do—climb mountains, carry my children, and live life fully. This perspective also helped me prioritize health over appearance, understanding that being strong and healthy ultimately supports my wellbeing and my family's happiness. If you’re struggling with food guilt or unrealistic body standards, I encourage you to redefine what a dream body means to you. Focus on strength, functionality, and joy rather than numbers on a scale or fitting a narrow ideal.
