Happy birthday babies 🫶
What an incredible milestone! Celebrating the birthday of my boy and girl twins, especially little Selah and her brother, is always a whirlwind of emotions and pure happiness. It feels like just yesterday I was holding them, and now they're growing into such unique individuals. Every year, I try to make their day extra special, reflecting their blossoming personalities and the unique bond they share as twins. For any parent of twins, you know the joy is doubled, but so is the planning! This year, we kept things sweet and intimate, focusing on creating beautiful memories. There's something truly magical about seeing them light up as they blow out their candles together. We had a small, colorful cake, perfect for two, and sang 'Happy Birthday to my twins' with all our hearts. Capturing these moments, whether it's a candid shot of them giggling or a planned photo with their birthday treats, becomes my little 'birthday DP' – a memory to cherish and share. I love looking back at previous years' photos and seeing how much they've changed, yet their sibling love remains constant. One of the most heartwarming parts of their birthday is seeing the outpouring of love from family and friends. It truly takes a village, and I'm so grateful for everyone who remembered Selah and her brother on their special day. Receiving all those lovely messages and wishes makes me feel so supported and loved. After the festivities, I always make sure to send out personalized thank you messages. It's important to acknowledge the kindness of others. For those who wished my daughter Selah a happy birthday, a quick message like, 'Thank you so much for your sweet birthday wishes for Selah! She had such a wonderful day and felt so loved,' goes a long way. And for general wishes to both, 'A huge thank you to everyone who celebrated with us and sent love for my twins’ birthday! Your thoughtfulness means the world to us.' Sometimes, I include a cute picture of them enjoying their gifts or cake. It’s a small gesture, but it lets people know their wishes were truly appreciated. It’s not just about the gifts, but the warmth and love that surround us on such an important day.
