Also, practicing the jump itself separately to build your vertical leap can boost the overall height and force behind the kick. Incorporating drills such as jumping onto raised platforms and executing side kicks has helped me refine the timing and coordination required. Gradually increasing speed while maintaining proper form prevents injuries and builds muscle memory. Remember, landing softly after the jump is as important as the kick itself to maintain balance and prepare for your next move.
