The Game That Started It All for Me & My Husband
Borderlands 3 will always have a special place in my heart 🫶🎮
It was the very first game my husband and I ever played together and it kind of became our thing.
Now we literally play it every single night 😂
There’s something about looting laughing and getting absolutely obliterated by enemies side by side that just hits different.
Borderlands isn’t just a game for us it’s our little escape our date nights and our comfort chaos all in one.
Even when I’m curled up in bed or on the couch with my Steam Deck we are still out here saving the galaxy one ridiculous quest at a time ✨💛
If you’ve never played Borderlands co-op with someone you love you are missing out.
It is honestly the best bonding time full of laughter memories and a little friendly loot stealing 😂🔫💕
Playing Borderlands 3 in couch co-op truly redefined our gaming nights! It's not just about battling baddies; it's the shared adventure that makes it so special. When we first jumped into Pandora, I remember thinking how perfectly the split-screen worked. We each had our own space, yet we were side-by-side, strategizing and laughing until our sides hurt. One of the biggest draws for us is the loot system. There’s something incredibly satisfying about opening a chest together, seeing all the shiny new weapons, and then deciding who gets what. We've had countless friendly debates over legendary drops – "No, *I* need that SMG!" "But my build really benefits from this shield!" It's all part of the fun and really cements that feeling of a shared journey. The diverse character classes also add so much replayability. We love trying out different Vault Hunters and seeing how their skills complement each other, especially during those intense boss battles that send us back to the nearest New-U station more often than we'd like to admit! And speaking of intense battles, the humor in Borderlands 3 is just fantastic. Claptrap's antics and the quirky dialogue always keep things lighthearted, even when we're facing down a particularly tough boss. It perfectly balances the chaos with genuine laughs, making our "comfort chaos" truly live up to its name. I often get asked about playing it on my Steam Deck. While we primarily play on our main monitor for the full couch co-op experience, my Steam Deck has been a game-changer for solo sessions or when one of us wants to continue a side quest while the other is busy. It runs surprisingly well, and being able to carry that Borderlands universe with me, even just to tinker with my build or farm for a specific item, is brilliant. The vivid graphics look great on the Steam Deck's screen, making those chaotic firefights still feel impactful. It’s a testament to how versatile Borderlands 3 is, whether you’re huddled on the couch with a partner or exploring solo. For anyone considering Borderlands 3 for couch co-op, I can't recommend it enough. Just make sure you have two comfortable controllers and maybe a big screen so you both have enough visual real estate. It's more than just a game; it's an experience that fosters teamwork, inside jokes, and unforgettable memories. Trust me, you'll be hooked on chasing those legendary drops and saving the galaxy together in no time!

Where did you get that case or accessories for the deck? 🥰
