My first brand collab as a healed woman 🔥
So I'm going to be vulnerable for a moment and that's ok. ❤️
🤍 My Story: I was in an extremely toxic 5.5 year relationship, with a man who broke me in every way possible. Content creation was a huge part of my life for those past 5 years. Once I finally left him I didn't realize how much damage he had caused. I was suffering daily with no hope for the future. So I took a year long break from creating content, started therapy and went on my healing journey. This video is just a short clip showing my return, no longer that broken woman and also 60 pounds lighter. I hope that by sharing a small part of my story that others will see that it does get better. You can't control the past and how others hurt you, but you can control what happens moving forward by taking care of YOU. I barely remember that woman anymore, but I love little reminders such as this clip, to see how much I've grown and how strong I really am. I never call myself a victim, only a survivor because I overcame and never looked back. 💪 #toxicexboyfriend #domesticabusesurvivor #healing #mystory #glowup Lemon8 US Lemon8 Wellness
Recovering from a toxic relationship can be a difficult and enlightening journey. Many individuals find themselves grappling with emotional pain and a loss of self-identity. The significance of therapy and self-care in this healing process cannot be overstated. It's imperative to take the time needed for introspection and understanding your worth. Activities like journaling, practicing mindfulness, and engaging with supportive communities can foster healing and growth. One powerful aspect of this journey is reconnecting with your passions, whether it’s creative pursuits like content creation or enjoying fashion again. Many survivors of toxic relationships also find empowerment in sharing their stories, which not only helps in personal healing but also inspires others on similar paths. Remember, it’s okay to show vulnerability. Reclaiming your narrative is part of the glow-up process. Embrace your journey, wear your sneakers with pride, and never forget how far you've come.
