New esthetician student!

Embarking on a journey as an esthetics student is truly exciting and rewarding. From my experience starting out, one of the most valuable lessons is the importance of understanding skin types and how different products interact with each unique skin profile. This foundational knowledge helps in tailoring skincare routines that deliver the best results. During my studies at Derm Academy, I quickly realized that hands-on practice is just as important as theory. Each practical session helped me refine my techniques and boosted my confidence in performing facial treatments, extractions, and facial massages. Consistency in learning and practicing not only improved my skills but also accelerated my progress toward becoming a licensed esthetician. Another aspect I've enjoyed sharing is the glow-ups—those visible improvements in skin health from regular treatments and proper skincare. Documenting these changes motivates me and others to maintain a dedicated routine. If you’re interested in skincare or considering a career in esthetics, my advice is to stay curious and patient.
