GET OUT OF YOUR HEAD & PUT IT ON PAPER 📝

Some of your best and most important decisions come from a spur of the moment thought . So when you have them, be sure to write them down! Dont let the " i'll remember it later" stop you from putting your thoughts into action! DO IT THEN🤺 whether it may be for:

👉a future career endeavor

👉hobbies you want to try

👉 makeup/style inspo

👉 maintenance tips & self care

👉 taking care of your mental health

i have been journaling alot recently and it has truly helped me organize just about everything that goes on in a mind of an over-thinker/anxious person/mind wander.

just found a tip to budget better ? writing it down ✍️.

Just saw this new recipe that helps with gut health? writing that down ✍️.

new lip combo i havent tried yet? WRITTEN. DOWN.✍️ ( or if you see it on here , save it in a collection!📥)

Putting it in front of your eyes not only helps you remember and understand yourself better but focuses your mind on envisioning yourself completing that task or goal that you're working towards. Even if you dont have a pen and paper near you your Notes or Journal app are the perfect places to put them! 🕺

Additional Tips:

👉if you're not sure how to start writing try starting with prompts! [ " How am I feeling today?" " What are some things I hope to accomplish by ___ ?" or Reflection writing! ]

👉 FREE WRITE: this helps you get the gears moving, even if your just writing about the places youve visited before , get into the habit of seeing your thoughts

on paper and embracing the vulnerability it creates.

👉 YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SHARE YOUR WRITING IF YOUR NOT COMFORTABLE! ( writing can be personal or shared but dont feel pressured to voicing everything that comes to your mind , privacy is always okay! 👌)

👉 Dont think , just write! ( the goal is to simply see it before your eyes , not to fill up the entire page )

👉 Play music or drink a warm tea while writing! this has helped me stay in a relaxed state while I work and opens myself up to what im feeling in that moment .

As the new year approaches I want to keep practicing journaling along with some other habits that will allow me to tap into my creative sides and focus on mental wellness💕.

... Read moreJournaling is more than just a daily task; it’s a powerful self-care practice that can enhance your mental clarity and well-being. Acknowledging thoughts through writing segments your anxiety and promotes emotional expression. Begin by setting aside a few minutes each day to jot down your thoughts—whether they're about your career goals, new hobbies like dancing or Pilates, or even important health tips. Using prompts can kickstart your journey when you feel it’s difficult to gather your thoughts. Consider questions such as, "What am I grateful for today?" or, "What skills do I want to develop this month?" Free writing can also be beneficial; letting your hand flow freely over the page encourages a natural stream of consciousness which reveals underlying feelings and aspirations. Moreover, this practice can help in fostering positive habits, like budgeting wisely or investing in personal growth. As you write down affirmations and intentions, you turn abstract desires into concrete actions, reinforcing the pathway to achieving your dreams. Try harmonizing your journaling experience with relaxing music or a calming beverage—creating an inviting atmosphere can elevate your thought process further. Remember, the insights you uncover through writing not only help you understand yourself better but guide you toward taking actionable steps that reflect your aspirations. As the new year approaches, many find inspiration to continue journaling, integrating it as a vital part of their mental wellness routine. Whether you choose to keep your writing private or share it with trusted friends, this journey of documenting your thoughts can be profoundly enriching and transformative.
