Consequences, but worth it 🤣
So…a little backstory. 2 years ago we had the opportunity to purchase the home I grew up in. We took that opportunity. I was ecstatic know I would be able to come back here, raise my daughter here and turn this place back into something beautiful like I remembered it so many years ago. The first picture is the before. It was taken the day the previous tenants moved out, overgrown from neglect. That oak tree has been there for as long as I can remember, my whole life and I’m 41. A couple of weeks ago I decided it was time to tackle that project. Get it cleaned up, plant some flowers and make it beautiful, the following pictures were the progress over those 2 weeks. This last 2 pictures though? Well those are the consequences of my actions 🤣🥴 poison oak is real my friends. So very real. Listen, I honestly thought I was tearing down some Virginia creeper. It is in fact NOT Virginia creeper but indeed poison oak. It’s ok, you can laugh at my expense. It’s ok. I’m miserable, but I get it 🤣 sure did turn out pretty though and I haven’t seen those 2 big rocks since I was a kid 🥰#homeprojects #thissucks #pleasesendhelp🥴

sure is a beautiful place sorry about the poison oak
