What’s your fav beauty brands?
I’m a bit of a makeup addict, and I try to at least put something light and natural on my face every morning so the massive bags that live under my eyes are less noticeable throughout the week! I’ve tried a lot, and these are the brands and products I’ve found the most success and love for! This is only what I had lying in my drawer since it’s the most used but there’s so many other products that I love and use religiously
e.l.f.: I feel like this everyone, but the affordability and the way it lays in my skin is absolutely amazing and I truly love it. The dupe nature of many of their products also helps because it’s makes similar formulas and looks more accessible for someone like me that doesn’t have a true source of income right now!
Fourth Ray Beauty: they changed my skin for the better. I have sensitive, oily skin with large pores, and they’ve helped to keep it clear and give me glowy skin without breaking the bank! I skin cycle almost exclusively with their products and it’s amazing!
Colourpop: I wish I had dug more out, but I love this blush and layering it with the nyx buttermelt blush. The lip is the perfect natural/nude pink and I’ve never had issues with their products! Super affordable and consistent
Nyx: the buttermelt blush is amazing. I feel like I glow and get so many more compliments when I wear it! Their eye products are amazing and I always know who to go to when I need a pigmented liner in a pinch. I do prefer the elf power grip primer over the marshmallow from nyx BUT the marshmallow is better for more natural looks since I’m wearing less products and don’t need it to stay glued to my face if that makes sense
benefit: when I don’t want the shimmer in my powder blush, this is a great go-to (I clearly favor one shade for the most part lmao) and I LOVE. Plus the blue mascara I feel like my eyes pop more when I wear it without it being too obvious I’ve got a color aside from black on my eyes
The rest of them:
There’s some brands where I am a ride-or-die for one product despite others that I’ve tried, and these are them that are at least in my regular rotation!
- the Milano tubing mascara has my heart. An amazing formula that adds great length and doesn’t agitate my eyes. I love her and I wear this almost regularly. I don’t feel like I need falsies with it most of the time
- Clinique eye serum - gets rids of any puffiness around my eyes without the menthol/cold feeling. It’s cooling because the applicator is a metal rollerball but without the eye agitation! I use this a few days a week, more often in the summer because I tend to retain a bit more water overnight, and it helps me look more awake!
- Sephora contour: she blends like a dream and it’s the perfect cool-toned contour so it’s not obvious I’ve put on anything! Great for everyday and I can warm it up/deepen it without worrying that it’ll be too much for me.
- one size powder: I love. She’s perfect. Doesn’t cast me lighter like other (ahem ABH) brands do. Last all day. Stays on my person for light touchups
- Covergirl lip stain: I love the marker application and personally prefer it over the gloss-type applications for lip stains so this is just a win. Color is great and buildable and I don’t feel sticky or dry. It also doesn’t transfer to my lip glosses
- summer Fridays- she’s great. Large tube, moisturizing, perfect honestly! No complaints from me

Right now I’m hooked on ELF and Huda. Both have great beauty products for a decent price. Huda’s baked loose powder is the best!
