Strawberry legs (and arms) have been the bane of my existence for as long as I can remember, until about a year ago when I finally landed on these products! Ever since, I’ve been almost completely free of KP flairs (except when I fall out of routine for longer than a few weeks) and I no longer feel the bumpy texture of the raised, inflamed skin after I shave!

My journey to smooth legs involved two game-changing products: an exfoliating toner and a gentle body scrub. The key was understanding why these types of products are effective. Keratosis pilaris often results from a buildup of keratin, which blocks hair follicles and creates those rough, bumpy patches. Strawberry legs, while sometimes related to KP, can also be caused by clogged pores from shaving. Addressing both requires careful exfoliation. The exfoliating toner, as described, became a daily staple for me, especially after shaving. Its gentle, scent-free formula meant it didn't irritate my skin or clash with my favorite lotions. I found that applying it liberally to my legs, thighs, and any affected areas like my hips helped to loosen the keratin plugs and keep my pores clear. This consistent chemical exfoliation is crucial for preventing new outbreaks and maintaining smooth texture. Over time, I noticed a significant reduction in the appearance of those tiny red dots and the overall roughness. Complementing the toner was a pink-tubed body scrub, which I incorporated into my routine 1-2 times a week. This wasn't just any scrub; it was gentle enough for sensitive skin, yet effective.
