Printing with 🔴⚪️🔵 ink in support of Team USA
The Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games are underway! In this video, Jared letterpress printed some support for Team USA in the print shop at the Sacramento History Museum.
The phrase “GO USA” was typeset in 30 line pica French Clarendon font. This wood type was made in the late 1880s by the Hamilton Wood Type Company. This was printed with red, white, and blue rubber base ink using our Washington hand press. Sometimes, we just let the sounds of the printing process do the talking.
