I’m scared for tomorrow’s appointment ..

Yesterday I had my anatomy scan, and while most things looked great — baby’s heartbeat was strong at 127 bpm, normal growth, and no fluid buildup — the tech noticed that the heart rate had some brief drops down into the 50–80 bpm range.

Everything else looked fine, and I’ve been feeling the baby move a lot today, which is really reassuring. Still, hearing that made my heart sink — I’ve been so anxious and can’t help but worry.

I have a follow-up appointment with a specialist tomorrow to take a closer look, but I wanted to share in case anyone else has been through something like this. Did anyone else have a scan where the baby’s heart rate dipped for a moment but everything turned out okay? 💕

Trying to stay calm and hopeful tonight while we wait for more answers. ✨

My cousin went through something similar with a late scan and her little one is now a healthy, happy toddler! Just breathe and focus on the good signs. You got this! ✨
