When did you start nesting?
I never had the feeling to “nest” with my first pregnancy but this one it definitely kicked in yesterday!
I just want to get everything set up, wash and fold all of his clothing, clean everything and organize everything. I am so ready for him to be here!!
We got the crib together yesterday, no the stuff in it will be taken out when he arrives and the stuff hanging on the wall pressed up against the crib. I moved ALL of my MANY crystals of the shelves above the crib as well to a new location. I have so many and that wall was the biggest one for them😫
I will leave a couple near him for protection and health though. I truly believe crystals have so many physical and mental healing properties to them. I explain that in my shop and taught my daughter so much about them. She loves them as well!❤️

The nesting instinct is a natural phenomenon that many expectant mothers experience, often kicking in during the later stages of pregnancy. At around 34 weeks, many find themselves driven to prepare their homes for their baby's arrival. This can involve organizing baby clothes, assembling cribs, and ensuring everything is clean and ready. Nesting not only provides physical readiness, but it also serves as an emotional preparation, helping to create a secure environment for the newborn. It is also common for mothers to feel an urge to declutter and make space, reflecting their desire to embrace the new family member. Additionally, many moms choose to incorporate personal beliefs, such as the use of crystals, to imbue positive energy into their homes. This period is also an opportunity for the family to come together, sharing stories and creating a nurturing space. Whether you're a first-time mom or have experience, reflecting on when you started nesting can provide insights into your emotional journey. Join others in sharing their nesting experiences and tips, fostering a sense of community and support. How did your nesting process unfold? What preparations made you feel the most ready?
