Life hacks to go hiking with newborn
We love to go hiking and bringing a newborn can be tricky. I found the best way to bring them is in a carrier. A stroller won’t be able to get everywhere like your own two feet can. My baby naps the entire time he’s in there. I can easily take him out to breastfeed and put him back in the carrier without ever having to put him down.
A portable changing table is AMAZING to have in your bag, makes changing the baby so much easier than trying to find an area that is clean and dry in the woods.
Portable fan helps keep both of you cool!! Remember to stay hydrated!!

Hiking with a newborn can be both rewarding and challenging. Choosing the right gear is essential, and a comfortable carrier is key to hands-free hiking. This allows parents to easily access their baby for feeding or soothing during the hike. A portable changing table can greatly simplify diaper changes, ensuring cleanliness in nature. Remember to stay hydrated, especially during warm weather, and consider bringing a portable fan to keep both you and your baby cool. When planning your hike, pack essential items like warmer clothing for the baby, diapers, wipes, and snacks in a backpack. It's also crucial to start with shorter hikes and choose family-friendly trails that offer restroom facilities and shaded areas. Researching local hiking spots that are suitable for families can enhance your experience. Lastly, always check the weather forecast before your hike and adapt your plans accordingly to ensure your baby's comfort and safety.
