Nail designs I’ve gotten(:

I love getting fun and different designs, I feel like it’s another way for me to show off a part of my personality and who I am. Recently I started going to my moms nail artist and she is the best of the BEST. I can finally look on Pinterest at all the inspo and be confident that she would be able to do any design I asked for. I don’t get my nails done often but I love it when I do and want to start branching out even more into designs that match the things I am into (ex: soul eater anime nails)

... Read moreI've always found so much joy in transforming my nails, and it’s been a fun journey exploring different styles. Beyond the designs I've already shared, I've learned a lot about what makes a manicure truly special and how to get the most out of your nail art experience. For fellow anime fans, diving into anime nail art has been a game-changer! While my 'Soul Eater' set was absolutely epic, there's a whole universe of inspiration out there. Imagine intricate designs featuring characters from 'One Piece' or 'Naruto' – it's amazing what talented artists can do. When planning these, I usually bring in specific character art or iconic symbols I want. It’s personalized art right at your fingertips! Finding your 'top nail design' really comes down to personal expression. I spend a lot of time on Pinterest and Instagram, just soaking in all the 'nail examples' out there. Don't be afraid to mix and match elements you like from different designs. For instance, I loved the delicate blue and white floral nails I once had, but I might combine that floral elegance with a modern matte finish next time. It's about taking inspiration and making it uniquely yours. If you're new to nail art or prefer something you can do at home, easy dot nail art is fantastic for beginners. All you need are a few polishes and a dotting tool (even a bobby pin or toothpick works!). You can create simple polka dots, floral centers, or even abstract patterns. It’s a great way to add a playful touch without needing professional skill. And let's talk about nail length and color! While I tend to go for longer nails, like the matte black nails with a white wavy design that were my longest, short nails can look incredibly chic and are super practical. Many designs, even intricate ones, can be adapted for a shorter canvas. As for colors, I've noticed a growing trend for earthy tones. A rich, dark brown nail art can look incredibly sophisticated, especially in autumn, or paired with gold accents like the sun and moon designs I tried (though that set wasn't my favorite, the color combo itself was striking!). Lastly, don't forget to consider seasonal designs! While I often lean towards what inspires me at the moment, embracing 'spring nail art designs' with pastels, delicate flowers, or even subtle glitter (like my 'Lil Christmas themed set' but in spring colors!) is always fun. And if you're feeling adventurous, some of the newer trends, like Korean nail art with its negative space techniques, can be really stunning. It’s all about experimenting and having fun with your style!
